The University of South Florida offers a unique opportunity for you to earn a Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics by completing the first four courses of the Master of Science in Health Informatics. Completion of this graduate certificate equals 12 graduate credit hours and can take as little as six months. After completing the certificate, the credits you earn can be applied toward a master's degree, should you choose to continue your studies.*
The Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics is designed to introduce you to management information systems – acquiring, storing and interpreting information of interest. You will learn about health informatics of interest to healthcare professionals, and you will receive a comprehensive overview of the functions, limitations, opportunities and challenges of integrated electronic medical records.
